Broccoli Stem Walnut Chutney

Low Carb, Quick and Easy

Ingredients :

  • Broccoli Stems – 1 cup
  • Walnuts – ½ cup
  • Roasted gram ( dalia ) – 1 tbsp ( optional )
  • Geen chillies – 1 or 2 based on spice preference
  • Ginger paste – ½ tsp or a small piece of ginger root
  • Cilantro – 1 tbsp chopped
  • Asafoetida – a pinch
  • Salt to taste 

 

Method :

Microwave  broccoli stems  with enough water to steam for a minute and allow it to cool.

Throw all the ingredients into the blender along with broccoli.

Add some water and blend into a smooth chutney.

Add pre-made tadka

Enjoy with dosa, idli, pongal, upma or similar.
